Kensington Collective · Concepts

Two directions for the website.

Both keep the Kensington name, the navy, and the gold from your boxes. Both are rough. They are here to help you pick a direction, not to be judged as finished work, so expect unfinished edges and placeholder photography.

Open each one and scroll all the way down.

Concept AThe studio rail of finished garments.

The Pattern

The classic. Built around the one thing only a real tailor can say: your pattern is drawn once, by hand, and kept for life. Quiet, printed, confident.

Concept BPrince of Wales check cloth at thread level.

The Cloth

The wow factor. Cloth at thread scale, and as you scroll the cloth changes tier from the mill to Zegna to Loro Piana, with the price moving beside it.

What we kept

The name, the navy, and the gold. We measured the gold off the foil on your own gift boxes, #CFB997, and the navy off the boxes and your photographs.

One change worth explaining. Your current site sets almost everything in Syne, which is a display face built to carry a single moment rather than a whole page. We kept it for the Kensington wordmark and put Libre Caslon underneath it for everything else. Caslon was cut in London in the 1720s, which felt right for a house whose cutters trained on Savile Row.

What we still need

Photographs of cloth at close range, one per tier, the same framing as the check swatch you already have. Concept B is built around them and currently shows placeholders where they belong.

Your portfolio photographs are also worth mentioning: all 22 of them are already on your current site but none of them load, so nobody has ever seen that page. We can fix that regardless of which direction you choose.
